About the Project

The Falls, an upscale open-aired plaza style shopping center is a longtime favorite of shoppers on the south side of Miami. The lush landscape and numerous pools make a beautiful back drop for this center. Our charge was to help breathe some bright life into the center. We focused on brightening up the existing dark wood structure with a new white palette. The existing 4×4 tiled columns were replaced with large scale cream porcelain tile,  and all lighting throughout was updated with new,  modern style LED fixtures and pendants. The existing chunky railing was replaced with a simple modern railing  which directed focus to the landscape and waterfalls. This 1980’s center now feels bright and welcoming, and the beautiful Florida landscape is allowed to really pop.
