About the Building

Strawberry Hill’s design and renovation consisted of 100,000 sf of new or renovated retail to bring new life to the already successful retail center. Spread across seven different buildings, the design involved the addition of a new Fresh Market grocery store along with new and renovated retail small shops buildings. A strong focus on the pedestrian shopping experience was identified early on as the retail portion of this development complements townhouses and apartments that surround the site. Existing courtyards were redesigned to promote a more open and modern pedestrian experience while new courtyards were created to complement the existing relationships. Our design was recognized by the Charlotte Business Journal as a “Top Retail Development” in their annual “Heavy Hitters” awards for 2019.
