About The Building
Preservation and renovation of an existing 1880’s era historic hotel built originally by the Norfolk Southern Railroad. The Tudor style structure was meticulously restored on the exterior as well as in the public areas such as the lobbies, restaurants, and meeting rooms while the guest room wings were gutted on the inside and redesigned for today’s hospitality requirements. A 90,000 sf conference center was also added to the hotel to better serve the western Virginia convention market.
