SouthPark exemplifies the successful redevelopment of an existing outdated mall and won the prestigious ICSC award for mall renovations in 2005.  It is the center of luxury shopping for the North and South Carolina region.  The transformation includes the addition of Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, 100,000 sf of additional small shops, several parking decks containing 5,387 cars, and the expansion of existing department stores.  New high end shops include Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Burberry, Ralph Lauren, and Tiffany & Company for a total of 1,700,000 square feet.
